My elder companion care provides Non-Medical Holistic Care, Practical Support, Socialization, Emotional Support, and Respite for families who need extra palliative care and support. Elder Companion’s are critical to families who are unable to care for their loved ones, or for those that are geographically separated – and may need an extra set of eyes on your environment and circumstances. Elder Companion Doula Services and Palliative Care:
- Companionship/Emotional Support
- Enhance Quality of Life
- Planning and Scheduling Appointments and Social Activities
- Accompany and Advocate at Doctor Appointments, Attorney, Fiduciary
- Daily/Weekly Check-in by Phone or in Person
- Errand-Running/Grocery shopping
- Pet Care
- Transition Support if Loved One is Being Moved to Assisted Living/Long Term Living Facility
- Organization/De-Cluttering Assistance
- Provide Socialization
- Provide Respite for Family
- Serve as Extra Eyes and Ears for Peace of Mind to Families
- Guided Visualization and Meditation (relieves stress, and anxiety, while bringing a sense of calm and peace)
The hourly rate for this elder companion care is $28 (based on location, in or around Longmont Colorado, travel fees may apply). There is a one hour minimum on all palliative care services.
