- To provide extra support and comfort on a routine basis to families who live out of town or cannot check in regularly, provide extra comfort, companionship, and support to the person in a senior living community. A doula is yours personally.
- To check in on your loved one in a care facility to make certain their needs are being met and that they are receiving the one-on-one time and support they need.
- Assist with the transitioning from a private residence to an independent living or long-term acute facility with regular or few visits after moving in to assure a smooth transition.
- For aging adults in senior living facilities with limited social engagement programs, the doula can accompany them on walks, outings, or spend one-on-one time playing cards, games, or participating in activities, and working on legacy projects for loved ones.
- To provide respite to family and end of life vigil support.
