Hi there, I’m Linda Heil

Born in Denver and raised in Longmont, Colorado, Linda Heil founded Tending with Grace, LLC, driven by a deep passion for helping others, a passion shaped by her childhood experiences. When Linda was just six years old, her mother was diagnosed with a debilitating illness that left her unable to walk or care for her six children. Consequently, Linda’s mother spent the rest of her life in a nursing home. Linda was then raised by her older sister in Longmont, where she has lived for the past 53 years.

Linda’s life has been profoundly shaped by her firsthand experience with the challenges of caregiving. This inspired her to establish Tending with Grace, which offers personalized concierge services, non-medical support, companionship, and a wide range of other services to enhance the quality of life for seniors and those she serves. Linda’s dedication and passion set her apart from other services. Although Linda has explored many other ventures in her life, helping others has always brought her the most fulfillment. Her commitment is evident in her attention to detail, passion, and dedication to those she serves.

On a personal note, Linda is not just a committed professional; she is also a compassionate and nurturing individual who shows love and concern for others. Linda and her husband, who have been married for 40 years, spent the first half of their lives farming in Mead, Colorado. There, they raised two daughters, both of whom are now married, and have been blessed with four grandchildren. Linda places a great deal of value on her commitment and dedication to her family, and she serves others with the same level of care and dedication.

Linda cared for my dear friend Dian during her long battle with MS.  Linda showed love, grace, and wisdom all while taking care of every one of Dian’s needs.  She met with Lawyers, Caregivers, Hospice staff, and the Fiduciary company. Linda has a unique combination of compassion, and organizational skills, that make her perfect for taking care of loved ones, at the end of their lives.

We have known Linda and considered her a family friend for many years as she had been our next-door neighbor as a child. Linda started walking our mom’s dog after our mother injured her leg in 2020. Linda’s visits lifted Mom’s spirits and as our mother’s mobility declined Linda happily took on more responsibilities, taking our mother to appointments, picking up prescriptions and so much more. Linda has been the difference that allowed our mother to live in her home independently for as long as possible. Linda is caring, honest and trustworthy and our family would recommend her without reservation. Thank you for all the love and support you have given to our mom and family.

Linda cared for our Mother who had MS for years, and quite literally covered every aspect from making sure there was food, arranging hospice, and so much more. She met with the nurses, cared for her dog, and empowered Mom to make her own choices in difficult times.  She attended and arranged medical meetings, worked with the fiduciary company, the attorney, and kept us in the loop when we were unable to be there. She genuinely loved our Mother and was caring, understanding, and true to her word, and for that, we are forever grateful. Thank you for everything Linda, you’re one of a kind.
